  • CERTIFICATION PROCESS
Service Request
A questionnaire for the requested service (FO-JCO-01) will be sent to the client. Once received, this will be evaluated in accordance with the solicited service and it will determine if NEMT can or cannot provide the service. If it is not possible, the cause will be formally notified to the client.
Contract Proposal
Should the application be accepted, the certification program is established. The client and NEMT sign the legally enforceable agreement to carry out the contracted services by both parties.
Pre-Audit
Preliminary stage to the certification process that organizations hire with the intention to review their Management Systems under the regulation in which they are interested in. This way the organization can approach the process’s dynamic and determine the effectiveness subsequent to its implementation.
Stage 1
(Document Review)
The client is requested the documents of its system management to review and evaluate its conditions. The report of the evaluation is delivered in a period no longer than 10 business days from the time of the audit.
Stage II
(On-site document review)
The implementation and efficiency of the System Management are evaluated. NEMT reviews the findings of Stage II and in some cases proves in situ; the organization has taken action to remove those recurrences.
Certification and Recertification
The Certification Committee reviews all reports and makes a decision in regards to the certification; a three year certification is emitted. To grant the certification mark of NEMT is necessary to sing the contract (FO-JTC-04). If the certification is denied and the client does not comply with the result, an appellate procedure can be executed.
Follow-up Visits
During the process of the certification, it will be necessary to have at least one yearly surveillance audit with the purpose of verifying the conditions in which the certification was emitted and the improvement of the system itself. The first follow up visit must be before the twelve month mark from the execution of the Audit Stage II.
Initial recertification stage
The renewal is made with an approximated time of three months prior to the effective date of the certificate. The steps for the service request, the contract proposal, and the agreement between the client and NEMT are executed for the new cycle of certification.
Corrective Actions
(Stage I) If there are non-conformities with the first stage of the process it will not be possible to schedule the visit for Stage II until those non-conformities have been attended, sending the analysis of the root cause and the evidence that validates the activities of the support plan. (Stage II) the solution period notice must be sent to NEMT too for its revision.
Recertification’s Audit
It is done with the purpose to review the modifications of the context as well as the extent required by the organization to ensure the efficacy of the system for its recertification.
Audit Team Selection
It is established based on the required competence for each audit exercise, being the Chief Operating Officer responsible for the operation. NEMT notifies the client and the client informs if this designation was rejected. The client is also notified if an auditor is present as an observer.
Audit Team Designation Stage II
You may recuse any of the members of the audit team by delivering a report to NEMT in which the motives are justified. If these are not argued, the petition will not proceed.
